I completed my MD in Community Medicine from the Centre for Community Medicine, AIIMS, New Delhi. During my postgraduate training, I worked across urban and rural primary healthcare settings and a secondary care hospital through the Comprehensive Rural Health Services Project (CRHSP), Ballabgarh. My training provided extensive experience in comprehensive primary healthcare, maternal and child health, implementation of National Health Programmes, disease surveillance, health systems strengthening, epidemiological research, and operational research.
As part of my residency, I also worked as a Medical Officer in primary and secondary healthcare facilities, managing outpatient services, emergency care, maternal health services, and community-based public health activities. My MD thesis, funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
My areas of interest include health systems research, implementation research, maternal and child health, nutrition, epidemiology, health policy, and evidence-based public health.
